P2V of Windows NT4 SP6 Server requests files SP6I386.exe and KB885835

    During the P2V process of a Windows NT4 server which has Service Pack 6a installed as per the requirements, the VMware Converter application requests two files to be present and a location for these, see image below:

The two files are:

• SP6I386.exe DOWNLOAD HERE
• KB885835 DOWNLOAD HERE

Reboot the server into Windows, download these two files onto the hard drive of the server and then restart the conversion process. When you get to this screen, click on the first file request, then click ''Have Disk...' and browse to the downloaded file, repeat for the second.

The KB file, must be called: WindowsNT4Server-KB885835-x86-ENU.exe for it to be detected. Once the locations have been supplied for these files, the conversion continues seemlessly.
